Vietnam: Good progress but more work required on wildlife crime

Vietnam has made significant progress in tackling wildlife crime in recent years but there is still a long way to go in defeating the criminal networks behind the illegal trade, new research has shown.



A profile of Vietnam in the latest Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) indicators report states, for example, that Vietnamese nationals were among the most commonly arrested Asian nationals in Mozambique and South Africa related to rhino horn trafficking between 2010-2015.
